Teaching our youth, the future of our Jewish community, is incredibly exciting and allows for me to be creative while emphasizing Jewish texts, lessons, and ideas.
Jewish Humor Lesson, which is part of my Pre-Confirmation’s (8th and 9th graders) Jewish Culture and San Antonio Multiculturalism Curriculum that I wrote, developed, and taught.
Isaac Mayer Wise Lesson, which is part of my Pre-Confirmation’s (8th and 9th graders) History of Reform Judaism curriculum. This curriculum starts in the 1800s in Europe and goes to present day in San Antonio. We explore our own synagogue’s history in San Antonio as part of the curriculum as well.
