My husband, Dave, and I met on JDate when I was a student at HUC-JIR in Cincinnati. We married on August 9, 2014.

Dave is originally from Pittsburgh, but moved to the Cincinnati area for college, and he received his B.F.A. in Theater Design and Production from the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati. Dave has made EMS his main career. He became a paramedic in 2009, and he currently serves as an EMS Captain for Karnes County EMS, the EMS Lieutenant for Bexar Bulverde Volunteer Fire Department, and a volunteer fire fighter.

Dave and I have two sons, Trevor (4) and Joshua (2), as well as a cat, Rosie (14).
